The Singer appears to have accomplished a lot in the last year, from his global hit song 'Love Nwantiti’ receiving numerous certifications around the world. Three years after the original song's release all remixes have amassed over a billion streams on Spotify.

Nigerian Gospel Singer, Steve Crown, has shared how he narrowly escaped death, after a ghastly car accident. The Singer who shared pictures and videos in his Instagram page on Monday, gave no details of the incident, but thanked God for saving his life.

The Chief Executive Officer of Universal Music Group, Lucian Grainge, has confirmed striking a multi-faceted deal with Drake. According to Grainge, the deal includes recordings, publishing, merchandise, and visual media projects. In the last decade, Drake was the No. 1 streaming artist, a position that he attained in 2016 and never fell to No. 2. Universal, which is home to Drake and Taylor Swift, has been referenced in several verses by Drake.

Reports say royalties from live performances of music fell almost 30% in 2021, despite concerts resuming in the summer. The body that collects royalties for songwriters, PRS, revealed that concert revenues were just £8m, down from £11.3m in 2020 and £54m in 2019. It noted that only 19,300 set lists were reported last year, adding that it marks a huge decline from the 124,000 reported pre-pandemic.
