NPC Assures Head count of Mentally-deranged and Homeless People

The National Population Commission, NPC, has assured that mentally-deranged and homeless people would be counted in the upcoming 2023 census.

Ondo state NPC Federal Commissioner, Diran Iyantan, gave the assurance at a one-day capacity-building workshop for the 2023 population and housing census publicity committee.

Iyantan assured Nigerians that the census would record at least 98 per cent success.

The commissioner noted that the committee was one of the most important committees to drive the exercise.
