Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has congratulated his predecessor, Willie Obiano on his 67th birthday. A message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, hailed Obiano for his passionate service to the people of the state. Following the outbreak of monkey pox in the country, Imo State Government has revealed steps taken in sensitizing the public about the diseases. The state Commissioner for Health, Prosper Ohayagha, made the revelation in a telephone interview with Boss Radio News. Ohayagha outlines some of the symptoms of monkey pox. The Commissioner urges residents to contact the government if they notice any symptom.

American Actor, Roger Mosley, has died at the age of 83. Mosley died on Sunday, as a result of injuries he sustained in a car accident in California on Thursday. The Actor is survived by his wife, Antoinette and three Children.
Imo State Master Bakers Association has announced another hike in prices of bread due to the skyrocketing cost of baking materials. In an interview with Boss Radio News, Chairman of the Association, Osmond Nkeoma, speaks on the reasons for the hike in price. Nkeoma stresses that the association responded based on the inflation of goods and services. The Chairman adds that the hike will enable them remain in business.
The Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, has directed the immediate suspension of Staff recruitment. Speaker of the Parliament, Sidie Tunis, gave the directive in a statement issued by the Parliament’s Communications Division.
