American comedians, Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears have been accused of grooming a 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother, to film explicit skits. Their mother alleged that she and Haddish, met through comedy and developed a close relationship while over their respective divorces. Nigeria’s power generation peaked at 5,043.4MW on Thursday, a significant improvement from the peak of 4,664.1MW. According to the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, the lowest generation was 3,298.48MW, in contrast to 3,450.7MW recorded in the previous day. Meanwhile, total energy generated on Thursday stood at 102,875.3MWh, representing a 1.1% decline when compared to the 104,018.08MWh generated in the previous day.
At least seven people have been killed in inter-communal violence in Sudan’s southern Blue Nile state. According to state officials, 23 others were injured in the latest bout of violence, which occurred in two parts of the state. The Blue Nile state’s security committee said the cause of the violence was still under investigation. The committee also announced a curfew in two large cities of al-Damazin and al-Roseires.
Myanmar’s deposed Leader, Aung Kyi has been found guilty of electoral fraud and sentenced to three years in jail with hard labour. The sentence on Friday by a Special Court at a prison in the Capital, Naypyidaw, adds to the 17 years in prison that Kyi was already handed for other offences. Recall that the deposed Leader had been detained since a Coup early last year.
Nigerian Rapper, Ice Prince has been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force for assaulting one of its Officer on duty. According to a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, Ice Prince abducted and threatened an Officer after he was stopped for driving without a license. The statement revealed that the Music Star would be arraigned today.
