Osun PDP Suspends Governorship Candidate

Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has suspended a governorship candidate of the party, Dotun Babayemi.

The Secretary of the Ward, Ogunleye Bukayo, said the factional governorship candidate was expelled as a result of a petition filed against him by some party members.

Babayemi was suspended in his ward, Otun Balogun ward 2, Ayedaade Local Government, Gbongan.

He emerged as the candidate for a parallel governorship primary of PDP, while the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, identified Ademola Adeleke, as the candidate of the party.
