Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture have charged Nigerians to patronise made-in-Nigeria products. The National Chairperson of NACCIMA business women group, Aisha Abubakar, disclosed while speaking to newsmen in Lagos. Abubakar maintained that women should be encouraged to play a greater role in the entire agricultural value chain.
Report says fire gutted the West Africa Examinations Council building in Yaba area of Lagos State. According to the report,many people are feared trapped in the building. Although the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, emergency responders are at the scene and the fire has been put off.

The Senate has launched an investigation into the Public Works Programme coordinated by the National Directorate of Employment, NDE, in which 774,000 Nigerians were recruited. Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola has presented N136 billion budget estimate for 2023 to the state House of Assembly. The 2023 budget estimate was contained in a letter signed by the governor and received by the house.
