Ogun State Police Command has warned politicians in the state against covering their vehicle number plates with political stickers.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi and made available to newsmen.

According to the statement, the habit of covering vehicle number plates with stickers of political parties is making it difficult for security agents to identify the registration number of such vehicles.

The Command warned those involved in such practice to desist from it as a standing order has been given to area commanders and DPOs to clamp down on such violators.
