Dominican Republic’s minister shot dead

Dominican Republic's minister of environment and natural resources, Orlando Mera, been shot dead in his office by a close friend. Officials say Mera was holding a meeting at the time of the attack. A presidential spokesman identified the assailant as Miguel Cruz, he is now in custody, and the motive for the shooting remains unclear. The late Minister had served in incumbent President Luis Abinader's administration since July 2020.

Bus Accident In India Claims 26 Lives

At least 26 people have died and four others injured after a bus plunged into a gorge in a northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. Bangladesh Port fire claim lives

At least 49 people have been killed and more than 300 injured after a massive fire swept through a container depot in Southeastern Bangladesh. According to the Chittagong Chief Doctor, Elias Chowdhury, the fire broke out at a container facility on Saturday triggering multiple explosions. Train Crash in Germany Kills 4

A regional train has derailed in Southern Germany, killing at least four people. A Police Spokesperson said the Munich-bound train had been quite full at the time of the crash. Police put the number of injured at about 30, 15 of whom were seriously injured and taken to hospitals. There were multiple School Students on board the train.
