Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, Mustapha Inuwa, has resigned his appointment. A statement issued by Inuwa revealed that his decision to resign followed his desire to contest for governor. The statement expressed gratitude to the state governor and the people of the state for the privilege of serving the state since 2015.

Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku, has condemned the bomb attack that claimed lives in Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of the State. A statement issued by his Media Aide, Bala Abu, condoled with families of those who died during the attack. Imo State Police Command has arrested a suspected bomb manufacturer. Police spokesperson, Mike Abattam, noted that the command received credible intelligence on the hideout where he manufactures Improvised Explosive Devices used in attacking police stations and government facilities in the state. Abattam revealed that the suspect had since confessed to the crime, adding that investigation was ongoing.

Akwa Ibom State Zonal command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, has revealed that it convicted 52 traffickers in the zone from 2021 till date. Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, has said Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has consulted with stakeholders on the resumption of tolls at the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge. This was contained in a statement issued by Omotoso and made available to newsmen.
