Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, has said Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has consulted with stakeholders on the resumption of tolls at the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge.
This was contained in a statement issued by Omotoso and made available to newsmen.
The statement noted that the planned resumption of tolling by the Lekki Concession Company at the Ikoyi Link Bridge toll gate, consultations with the stakeholders are still ongoing.
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, has said state police is one of the possible ways of checking insecurity in the country. Wike, disclosed this to delegates of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the state ahead of the presidential primaries, in Taraba state. He maintained that establishing state police will be one approach to addressing the festering insecurity in Nigeria.
