Imo PDP accuses Uzodinma of politicizing insecurity

Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has accused the state governor, Hope Uzodinma, of politicizing insecurity in the state. A statement issued the party's spokesperson, Emenike Nmeregini, criticized the governor’s speech on Easter Sunday. The statement called on President Muhammadu Buhari to order an immediate investigation of Governor Uzodinma’s latest outbursts and threats against innocent citizens of the state.

Ondo Government Suspends Civil Servant Over Akeredolu’s Death rumour

Ondo state government has suspended a Civil Servant for reportedly spreading fake news about the death of the Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu. The suspension was disclosed by the Head of Service, John Adeyemo, on Wednesday. Adeyemo disclosed that the civil servant’s name has been forwarded to the Civil Service Commission for appropriate punishment. The Head of Service, however, expressed joy that the Governor is back to the country hale and hearty.
