Kwankwaso Emerges As NNPP Presidential Flag Bearer

A former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has emerged the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP. Kwankwaso disclosed this during the Party’s convention in Abuja on Wednesday. He was picked unanimously by NNPP’s 774 party delegates from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory through a voice voting.

Police Commends Indigenes in Anambra for Information on Criminals

Anambra State Police Command has commended indigenes of the state for coming out with information on criminals in their localities. The Command Spokesperson, Toochukwu Ikenga, who gave the commendation, said information by indigenes has helped the Command burst many criminal syndicates. Jigawa State Government has warned citizens of the State over fake online recruitment portal being circulated on social media. A statement issued on Tuesday by the Public Relations Officer, Office of the Head of the Civil Service, Ismaila Ibrahim, stressed that the State government did not authorized such advertisement or contracted any recruitment agency.
