Ayade Urges TETFUND to Provide Educational Interventions

Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade  has called on the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFUND, to extend more educational interventions to higher institutions in the State. Ayade, who was represented by the State commissioner for education, Godwin Akpanke, made this known while inaugurating projects at Federal Government College Obudu. He, however, commended TETFUND for the projects, as well as all the interventions done in the State’s institutions.

Kwara Police Arrests Suspect Over Death of Parent

Kwara State Police Command has arrested a suspect identified as Ibrahim Hassan for the alleged murder of his father. The Command’s Spokesperson, Okasanmi Ajayi, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect allegedly administered paracetamol injection mixed with other substances to his father and strangulated him to death. Ajayi noted that during investigation, the suspect confessed to the crime and would soon be charged to court.
