Kwara State Police Command has arrested a suspect identified as Ibrahim Hassan for the alleged murder of his father.
The Command’s Spokesperson, Okasanmi Ajayi, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect allegedly administered paracetamol injection mixed with other substances to his father and strangulated him to death.
Ajayi noted that during investigation, the suspect confessed to the crime and would soon be charged to court.
Nigerian Champions, Bayelsa Queens, will know their Group stage opponents at the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League on Friday. According to a statement issued on CAF’s Website, the draw ceremony will take place in Morocco. Bayelsa Queens booked a spot in the competition after claiming the top spot at the WAFU B Women’s Champions League in Cote d’Ivoire last weekend.
