Anambra State Police Command has arrested a man who allegedly uses charms to defraud POS operators in Awka, the State Capital. The Command’s Spokesperson, Toochukwu Ikenga, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, noted that the fraudster, Chisom Nweke, confessed to the crime. The statement noted there are suspicions that Nweke worked with a syndicate comprising other members, and efforts are being made to arrest other gang members.

Residents of Akwakuma in Owerri North Local Government area of Imo State have decried the poor state of roads in the area. Speaking with Boss Radio Rural Assessment Team, a Resident, Veronica Onani, narrates the condition of the road during rainy season. Benue State Government has revealed that additional 600 people have been displaced as a result of herdsmen attack on communities.
