The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has warned against the use of two Indian cough syrups found in Uzbekistan. According to the agency, the syrups, Ambronol syrup and DOK-1 Max syrup, are substandard. The agency had taken action in October against the use of four India-made cough syrups linked to the deaths of 66 children in The Gambia.

Immigration Service Opens Recruitment Portal

The Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, has opened the portal for 2023 recruitment. This was announced by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board. The board invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for full-time appointments to fill vacancies.
