Italian actress Gina Lollobrigida, has died at the age of 95. Lollobrigida’s films include Beat the Devil, the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Crossed Swords. She co-starred alongside the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Frank Sinatra, Rock Hudson and Errol Flynn. Her career faded in the 1960s and she moved into photography and politics.
Emma Raducanu has moved into the second round of the Australian Open with a straight-set win. On the opening day in Melbourne, Raducanu won 6-3 6-2 against Germany's Tamara Korpatsch. She rolled her ankle in Auckland 11 days ago and a beaming smile after sealing victory.

Burna Boy bagged the Best Act in Africa award at the eighth edition of the event, and the Best Album of Year award. While Wizkid bagged the Best Act in West Africa award, Davido clinched the Best Male Act in African Inspirational Music Award.
Nick Kyrgios has pulled out of the Australian Open with a knee injury. This comes a day before he was scheduled to play his opening match.
