Irabor Donates Patrol Vehicles to Delta Police

Chief of Defense Staff, Lucky Irabor, has donated five operational patrol vehicles to Delta State Police Command. Irabor presented the vehicles to the management of the command, in Asaba, the state capital. He noted that the gesture was to enhance the performance of the police in the security of lives and property across the state. The Defense Chief stressed the need to assist other security agencies with the required tools.

Japan Eases Pandemic Border Controls

Japan has announced an easing of the Country’s strict pandemic-related border restrictions. The Country’s Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, who made the announcement on Wednesday, said a requirement for a negative coronavirus test taken within 72 hours of departure would be lifted from September 7, 2022. Kishida disclosed that that no decision has been made on raising a cap on inbound passengers.
