Police Commission Suspends Constable Recruitment

The Police Service Commission has suspended the recruitment process of constables into the Nigeria Police Force.

Confirming the suspension, the Commission’s Spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, who disclosed this in a statement, noted that there were issues between the Police Force and the Commission.

The statement appealed to all applicants desirous of a career in the Police Force to exercise patience while these issues were being resolved.

The suspension comes barely 24 hours after the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, disagreed with the Commission for opening a portal for recruitment of Police constable.
