EFCC Arrests Internet Fraudsters in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested alleged Internet Fraudsters in Lagos State. Head of Media of the Commission, Wilson Uwujaren, announced the operation in a statement issued on Tuesday. According to the statement, the suspects were apprehended at different locations along the Lekki-Epe expressway. It accused the suspect of alleged involvement in computer-related fraud, adding that the suspects would soon be charged to court.

NERC Plans N5billion for Technology Investments

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, has said it will spend N5billion on Technology investments between now and 2025. Chairman of NERC, Sanusi Garba, disclosed this during a hearing on the Medium Term Expenditure Framework in Abuja. Garba revealed that N1.5billion had already being spent, adding that N2.5billion would be spent in 2023 and N1billion in 2025.
