Attack in Israel claim lives

At least three people were killed in a stabbing attack near Tel Aviv on Thursday. According to the Israeli Police Authorities, the attacker who fled in a vehicle left four others wounded. The Police said the incident which occurred as Israelis celebrated Independence Day appeared to be a terrorist attack. Meanwhile, the United States condemned the incident and is in contact with Israeli authorities.

NCDC alerts health workers on Lassa fever outbreak

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has said 22 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory have reported 751 confirmed cases of Lassa fever in 2022. The NCDC noted that 140 deaths have been reported. The Centre, however, appealed to health workers to maintain a high index of suspicion for the disease.
