The Apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has committed political suicide by throwing its 2023 presidential ticket open to all aspirants.
President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, George Obiozor, described the decision as a political blunder and betrayal of Ndigbo given the price they have paid supporting the party.
The President urged all Igbo presidential aspirants to remain focused because of the PDP shenanigans, noting that history will always vindicate the just.
Recall that a 37-member zoning committee of the PDP, chaired by Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom in its report to the National Working Committee of the party failed to zone the slot.
