The Transmission Company of Nigeria has blamed the power generation and distribution companies for the repeated collapse of the national electricity grid. Chairman, Technical and Monitoring Committee Nsima Ekere, disclosed this at the two-day official visit and inspection of the TCN store in Lagos. Nigerian Communications Commission Sustain 500,000 Jobs

The Nigerian Communications Commission has stated that the telecommunication sector sustains 500,000 jobs. Executive Vice Chairman of the Commission, Umar Danbatta, added that the sector’s contribution to Gross Domestic Product had also grown from insignificance to 12.61 per cent as at the last quarter of 2021. Dambatta noted that the sector had attracted $70bn worth of investment till date.
