Rublev Reacts to Ban Placed on Russian and Belarusian Players

Russian world number eight Andrey Rublev has said Wimbledon's ban on Russian and Belarusian players is illogical. Rublev is one of three top 10 players along with fellow Russian Daniil Medvedev and Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus who cannot play at SW19 this summer. The Belarusian Tennis Federation said it is seeking legal advice about the decision made by the All England Lawn Tennis Club and the Lawn Tennis Association.

Top Man United scouts leave ahead of ten Hag’s arrival

Manchester United has confirmed that their two leading scouts Jim Lawlor and Marcel Bout have left the club. Lawlor has been a chief scout for 16 years after he was brought in under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2005. Bout joined United as part of Louis van Gaal’s backroom team in 2014 and was appointed United’s head of global scouting two years later.
