Wales Midfielder, Aaron Ramsey has left Juventus a year before the end of his deal. The Italian club made this known on Tuesday. Ramsey joined Juve in 2019 as a free agent after spending almost eight years at Arsenal and won the Serie A title in his first campaign in Turin.

Paris Saint-Germain has confirmed the signing of France Defender, Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig on a five-year deal. PSG, however, did not reveal the fee for Mukiele but reports claimed they have paid between 10-15 million euros $10.12-$15.18 million. Mukiele is the French Champions’ third summer recruit after Portugal midfielder, Vitinha and young French striker, Hugo Ekitike.

A Sport enthusiast, Temitope Segun, made the call in an interview with Boss Radio News. Also speaking, the former Spokesperson of Athletics Federation of Nigeria, Olukayode Thomas, says Amusan’s victory showed that the Country has good athletes.

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Tobi Amusan for winning the women’s 100m hurdles gold for Nigeria at the World Athletics Championship 2022. In a congratulated message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Buhari joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating her outstanding feat. The President thanked Amusan for making the Nigerian National Anthem resonate from the International podium.

Tobi Amusan has become the first Nigerian athlete to win a World Athletics Championship gold in the women’s 100m hurdles. Amusan smashed the world record in the semi-final where she clocked 12.12 seconds. Her winning time will not be recognized as a world record due to an illegal tailwind of 2.5 meters per second.

Brighton has rejected a £30m bid from Manchester City for left-back Marc Cucurella. Cucurella signed a five-year deal with the South Coast side when he joined from La Liga Club, Getafe last summer.
