Reports say Chelsea football club is close to appointing Christian Freund as their new Sporting Director. According to reports, Freund is set to quit Red Bull Salzburg for Stamford Bridge. Brighton has appointed former Shakhtar Donetsk Boss, Roberto de Zerbi as Manager. De Zerbi signed a four-year contract at the Amex Stadium, subject to a work permit. He has been out of work since leaving Shakhtar in July because of the war in Ukraine. Spain international midfielder, Gavi has signed a new contract with Barcelona until 2026. The player has played for Barcelona since 2015 and was under contract until 2023. He made his first-team debut in August 2021, aged 17 years and becoming the fourth-youngest player in Barcelona history. Gavi has started in every La Liga campaign this season.
