Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Umana Umana, has commended Akwa Ibom State Government for achieving remarkable development strides 35 years since the state’s creation. Umana, who gave the commendation, in a statement, noted that the state was blessed with leaders who are developmental-driven. The statement commended the state government on its policies and its commitment to upholding peace and security in the state.

The Nigeria Police Force has warned politicians against actions that contravene the electorate act. Speaking at a stakeholders meeting, the Sokoto State Commissioner of Police Mohammed Gumel, advised Political Parties to avoid hate speeches during campaigns. A Federal High Court sitting in Abeokuta, has nullified all primary elections conducted by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state. In the ruling, the presiding judge, O.
