Grammy award-winner, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna boy is set to release the video for his latest single dubbed ‘Whiskey’. According to Ogulu, the video which will be released in the form of a mini-documentary highlights the challenges of environmental degradation bedeviling the Niger Delta region. The singer has been at the forefront of advocating for the people of the Niger Delta region through his works.

Nigerian musician Oladapo Oyebanji, popularly known as D’banj, has been arrested and detained by Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC. Oyebanji is accused of fraudulently diverting hundreds of naira earmarked by the Nigerian government for the N-Power project. Investigators alleged that D’banj colluded with some compromised government officials to introduce ghost beneficiaries into the payroll of the scheme

The family of veteran gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has announced date for his obituary. According to the funeral arrangements, Okposo who died in his sleep on November 25, will be buried on December 15. Th Singer died at the age of 51 years old.
