Soludo Denies Religious Killings in Anambra.

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has denied reports that religious killings targeted at northerners have been happening silently in the State. Speaking through his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime stated that the report is false and misleading. He warned the publishers of such reports against inciting violence in the Country. The Governor, however, assured both indigenes and non-indigenes of their protection and safety in the State.

Tanker Explosion Claim Lives in Anambra

Anambra State Command of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC says two persons were burnt to death in a tanker explosion that occurred along the Umunya Road on the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway. Confirming the incident, the State Sector Commander of FRSC, Adeoye Irelewuyi, warned motorists to avoid over speeding and ensure they keep to the recommended speed limit. Irelewuyi, however, commiserated with the families of the victims and prayed for the deceased.
