Nigerian On-Air Personality, Onome Oyaide, popularly known as Bigtyme, has passed on. His death was announced by a fellow OAP, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi. Singer Darey Alade also paid tribute to the late Oyade as a contributor to the entertainment industry.
Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has quit smoking, to mark his Birthday and for his kid’s sake. Daniel took to his Instagram page on Sunday to share a video where he officially announced that he has stopped smoking. In the video, the father-of-two also advised those that were struggling with smoking addiction to do same.
Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has celebrated his Baby mama, Chioma Rowland, on her Birthday. Sharing a picture of Chioma on his Instagram story, Davido showered prayers on the celebrant. Chioma, who clocked 27 on Saturday, is mother to Davido’s third child and only son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro has criticized Leonardo DiCaprio for encouraging the country's youth to vote in the elections. DiCaprio tweeted that Brazil is home to the Amazon and other ecosystems critical to climate change, adding that youth voting is key in driving change for a healthy planet.
A police officer, Khafilat Kareem, who appeared on Big Brother Nigeria without permission from her bosses, has been given a final written warning. The misconduct panel found that Kareem had breached the standards of professional behavior in relation to orders and instructions. Burna boy confirmed that his album will be released on the 2nd of July 2022. He is gearing up to release his sixth studio album just months after winning his first Grammy for his fifth studio album.
