The Actors Guild of Nigeria has elected new National Executive Council members to steer the affairs of the body for the next three years. The new leadership was elected at the end of the 2022 Nollywood Actors Summit held in Benin City, Edo State. The incumbent national president of the guild, Emeka Rollas was re-elected, while Abubakar Sanusi won his bid to become the AGN secretary-general.
Reports say Nollywood Actress, Rita Dominic and her husband Fidelis Anosike will have their white wedding this weekend in Yorkshire, England. The couple, who had their traditional wedding earlier this year, will be joined by friends and family as they say their vows abroad. The trailer for Funke Akindele’s ‘Battle on Buka Street’ is out. The movie, produced in a joint collaboration between Funke Ayotunde Akindele Network, FAAN, and FilmOne Entertainment, chronicles a food challenge between two major characters. Despite its obvious comedic disposition, the movie explores serious thematic issues, as the trailer hints at some family drama. The movie is to be released in cinemas on the 16th of December, 2022.

Oscar-winning actor, Kevin Spacey is to be charged with seven sexual offences against one man. The Crown Prosecution Service said the charges include three counts of indecent assault, three of sexual assault and one of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
