Hip-hop star, Grand Daddy I.U, who made a name for himself in the 90s, has died at the age of 54. The rapper was most known for his debut album Smooth Assassin, which he released under Biz Markie's label Cold Chillin' Records. The artist's official cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Court Dismisses Suit Against Taylor Swift

A lawsuit alleging that Taylor Swift stole lyrics for her hit song ‘Shake It Off’ has been dismissed by a judge. Songwriters Sean Hall and Nate Butler had claimed Swift lifted lyrics in her song's chorus from their own hit Playas Gon' Play. The case had been due to go to trial on 17 January.
