Nigerian music star, Openiyi Temilade, popularly known as Tems, has been nominated for a Golden Globes award.
Tems has bagged a nomination for the 2023 Golden Globes in the Best Original Score in a Motion Picture category.
She was nominated alongside superstar, Rihanna; composer, Ludwig Göransson and movie director, Ryan Coogler, for their collaboration on the song, “Lift Me Up”, off Marvel’s 2022 blockbuster movie, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”
A lawsuit alleging that Taylor Swift stole lyrics for her hit song ‘Shake It Off’ has been dismissed by a judge. Songwriters Sean Hall and Nate Butler had claimed Swift lifted lyrics in her song's chorus from their own hit Playas Gon' Play. The case had been due to go to trial on 17 January.
