Baldwin Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter

American Actor, Alec Baldwin, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer on movie set. Santa Fe District Attorney, Mary Carmack-Altwies, filed the charging documents naming Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who supervised weapons on the set. Prosecutors have said Baldwin’s involvement as a producer and the person who fired the gun weighed in the decision to file charges.

INEC Raises Alarm Over Plans to Clone BVAS

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has alleged that some politicians are trying to clone the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS. Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, INEC, Festus Okoye, made made this known when he addressed concerns over the possibility of over-voting and compromise of BVAS. Okoye’s comments come after the recent Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal judgement which nullified the election of Governor Ademola Adeleke on the grounds of over-voting.
