Plateau State government has revoked the licenses of all Nursery, Primary, and Secondary Schools in the State. State Commissioner for Education, Elizabeth Wampum, disclosed this at a press conference in Jos, the State Capital. Wampum said the decision was taken after it was discovered that 5,000 Private Schools were operating without a license.
Lagos State Government has advocated the sustenance of exclusive breastfeeding across the different levels of Society. State Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Olusegun Ogboye, made the call during a press briefing organized to outline planned activities of the State government to commemorate the 2022 World Breastfeeding Week. The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has approved the commencement of full transmission of Bizzibodi 100.1fm for commercial broadcasting. Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has unveiled the State’s Security Outfit known as Community Volunteer Guards. Ortom, during the passing out parade of the new recruits in Makurdi, the State Capital, pledged that his administration would legally procure sophisticated weapons for the Group. The Governor revealed that his administration decided to constitute the Security Outfit due to the failure of the Federal government to disarm the Herder Farmers.
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has promised that the various projects ongoing in Obio/Akpor and Port-Harcourt Local Government Areas of the State will create employment for the Youths in the Areas.
