Fayemi Approves Dissolution of Boards

Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has approved the dissolution of Boards and Commissions in the State. A statement issued by the Secretary to State Government, Foluso Daramola disclosed that the approval takes effect from August 31, 2022. According to the statement, the Governor also approved the stoppage of the Services of Special Advisers who are not Cabinet members, Technical Advisers, Director-Generals and other Heads of Non-Ministerial offices in the State.

The Nigeria Customs Service has denied reports that a special auction of over 7000 cars would soon be held by the Service. A statement issued by the Customs Public Relations Officer, Timi Bomodi, urged Nigerians to go online to the electronic auction platform for authentic information on auctioning.
