Lagos Government Plans Mobile App for Residents’ Feedback

Lagos State Government has disclosed its plans to inaugurate the Citizens Gate mobile application which is a feedback platform for residents’ inputs on State Programmes and Policies. A statement issued by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Civic Engagement, Aderemi Adebowale, noted that the digital platform will facilitate an interface with the citizens of the State and take governance to the doorstep of residents.

Ogun Assembly confirms Commissioner-nominees

Ogun State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of the two additional Commissioner-nominees sent by the State Governor, Dapo Abiodun. The confirmation of the nominees contained in a correspondence sent to the Assembly by Abiodun came barely 24 hours after they appeared before the Lawmakers. The confirmed Commissioner-nominees were Olufemi Ilori and Jamiu Odetogun.

Buhari Approves Establishment of Additional Orthopedic Hospitals

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the establishment of three additional orthopedic hospitals. The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, announced the approval at the inauguration of the Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge at the State House, Abuja. Ehanire disclosed that the President approved sitting of the orthopedic hospital in Benin, Jos and Jalingo respectively.
