The Price of Egg has recorded an increase in various Markets in Owerri, Imo State. In an interview with Boss Radio Business Team, an Egg Vendor, Lilian Osunwoke, speaks on the price of a Crate of Egg. Osunwoke blames the increase on rise of dollar. Victor Matthew adds that the increase is as a result of high cost of Feed.
Taylor Swift has announced a new album as she scooped the top prize at the MTV Video Music Awards. Swift won several prizes at the event including the coveted best video, for All Too Well. The Singer revealed that her next album, Midnights would be released on 21 October. Other winners included Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Harry Styles, while Johnny Depp made a pre-recorded appearance.
Nottingham Forest has signed Atletico Madrid's full-back, Renan Lodi on a season-long loan. Lodi is their 18th signing of the summer for the newly promoted side. He joined Atletico in 2019 and has played 118 games for Diego Simeone's side, winning La Liga in 2021, and has played 27 times in the Champions League.

Shekarau was received by the Presidential Candidate of the Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the Party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu. The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has restored the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Oborevwori Sheriff as the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the State. A Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State Capital has restrained Governor David Umahi from appointing new Caretaker Committees in the 13 Local Government Areas of the State. In his ruling, the presiding Judge, Fatun Riman, held that the tenure of Local Government Area Chairmen is three years, adding that the tenure of the current Chairmen will expire in August, 2023.
Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has urged people of the State to support the efforts of his administration in rebuilding the State. Ikpeazu made the appeal at an event to mark the 31st Anniversary of the creation of the State. He maintained that rebuilding the State involves all Stakeholders and citizens irrespective of Political Party. The Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment towards rebuilding the State for economic and infrastructural greatness.
Fish, Poultry Eggs, Milk, Dairy and Fish Products worth $3.49billion were imported into Nigeria in the last two years. According to data from the International Trade Centre, within the time under review, Fish Products worth $2.14billion were imported into the Nation, while Diary Products valued at $1.35billion were brought into the Country.
A member of Grammy-winning Band Arcade Fire, Win Butler has been accused of sexual misconduct by his fans. Butler is facing four allegations of sexual misconduct by significantly younger fans of the Group. Following one of the alleged incidents of misconduct, one of the women attempted suicide with an overdose of painkillers. They claimed that Butler sexually assaulted them twice in 2015 when they were just 21 years old.
