46 people found dead in a truck in Texas

At least 46 people were found dead in an abandoned truck on the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas. A fire official said 16 people, including four Children, had also been taken to hospital. Human Traffickers often use trucks to transport undocumented migrants after meeting them in remote areas once they have managed to cross into the United States.

Afenifere urges FG to stem rising insecurity

The Pan-Yoruba Socio-Political Organization, Afenifere, has urged State Governors to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the National Assembly to address the hike of insecurity in the Country. FG orders Correctional Centers to recapture fleeing inmates

Ekiti Governor approves new Head of Service

Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi has approved the appointment of Bamidele Agbede as the new Head of Service in the State Civil Service. According to a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode, Agbede’s appointment takes effect from July 1, 2022. Until his appointment, the new Head of Service was the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport.
