The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola has said there is no shortage of passport booklets in the country. Aregbesola made this known during the decoration of the acting Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Idris Jere, in Abuja. He noted that with the supply of booklets available with the Service, there can never be shortage of booklets. The Minister added that the country was only contending with human challenges.

Zamfara State Government is reconsidering shutting down telecommunication services in the state for the second time. A statement issued by the Special Adviser to Governor on Media, Zailani Bappa, stated that the state government has yet to close down the telecommunication services as being rumored.
