NDLEA Intercepts 9.5million Tablets of Hard Drugs

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has seized 9.5 million tablets of hard drugs worth over N5 billion.

This was contained in a statement signed by NDLEA’s Director, Media, and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi.

The statement revealed that the drugs were seized at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Ikeja, Lagos State, the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Edo state respectively.

It added that the operation was carried out in collaboration with the Nigerian Customs Service.

The state Commissioner for Physical Planning, Urban and Regional Development, Isoken Omo, made this known to newsmen in Benin, the state capital.
