Edo Government Implores Citizens to Seek Permits Before Building

Edo State Government has urged citizens to ensure they seek permits when converting their buildings to other uses.

The state Commissioner for Physical Planning, Urban and Regional Development, Isoken Omo, made this known to newsmen in Benin, the state capital.

Omo said that fire outbreaks might occur when people disregard building plans.

The commissioner harped on the need to educate people on the consequences of disregarding building plans.
