FG Denies Abandoning Edo Lassa Fever Outbreak

The Federal Government has denied abandoning the Edo State Government over the outbreak of Lassa fever.

Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, who disclosed this at the ministerial press briefing, said the Federal Government supports all the states battling disease outbreaks.

Recall that the State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare, decried the neglect by the Federal government on the recent outbreak of Lassa fever in the state.
