NFC Mourns Anyiam-Osigwe

The Nigerian Film Corporation, NFC, has mourned the death of legendary Nigerian film stakeholder, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe.

A statement signed by NFC’s Director, Public Affairs, Brian Etuk, Anyiam-Osigwe’s death as painful and saddening,

noting that the film industry has lost one of its most dedicated, and hardworking stakeholders.

The late filmmaker caught the interest of Nigerians and indeed Africans especially youths and upcoming filmmakers, given the sustained and annual film training and mentorship opportunities she provided through the Africa Movie Academy Awards.
