Bob Dylan has been offered a cameo on Coronation Street.

Dylan discussed his affection for the long-running ITV show in an interview.

Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod, said the singer could sing karaoke with characters Ken Barlow and Rita Sullivan.

The Gambia Government Foils Coup Attempt

The Gambia's government says it has thwarted an attempt to stage a coup. According to a statement issued by the government, Four soldiers had been arrested and three alleged accomplices were on the run. The statement noted that It is unclear who exactly was behind the attempt to overthrow President Adama Barrow. Barrow defeated long-serving President Yahya Jammeh in a shock election victory in December 2016.
