Buhari Expresses Concern Over Abduction of Babies in Anambra

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed concerns over the alleged abductions of five newborn babies in Anambra State.

A statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, ordered the immediate decrease in the region’s escalating crime rate.

The statement directed that security at hospitals must be foolproof so that attacks of this nature do not happen again.

Recall the abductors reportedly picked up the babies at Stanley Hospital, Nkpologwu in the state and zoomed off.

DSS issues ultimatum to NNPC

The Department of State Services has given Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and other stakeholders to end the lingering fuel scarcity. DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, said the decision was taken after a closed door meeting with stakeholders who agreed to end the scarcity. Afunnaya noted that all DSS commands had been placed on red alert and would commence operations to bring defaulters to book.
