CAN Raises Alarm Over Dangers of Electoral Violence

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has raised alarm over the dangers of electoral violence, and all forms of rigging and hate speech as the country prepares for the 2023 polls.

CAN President, Daniel Okoh, made this known during the Inclusive Security Dialogue in Abuja.

Okoh warned against electoral violence, noting that the consequences are capable of truncating the country’s democratic process.

The President charged security agencies to be alive to their responsibilities to enforce the law against perpetrators of election violence.
