Soludo Tasks Population Commission on Credible Census

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has urged the National Population Commission, NPC, to conduct a credible census in 2023.

Soludo made the call during the Stakeholders’ Summit on the 2023 Population and Housing Census in Awka, the State capital.

He harped on the need for the commission to provide the country with reliable, acceptable and credible data that can aid effective and efficient planning.

The Governor noted that the numbers that would be gotten from the census will help government to plan, and also know the nationalities, state of origin and even religion of people resident in a geographical location.
