President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the death of Queen Elizabeth ll of the United Kingdom.

A message signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, condoled with the Royal Family and Great Britain over the loss of the longest reigning monarch.

Recall that Queen Elizabeth II of England died at the age of 96 on Thursday at the Balmoral Castle, the United Kingdom.

Kwara Police Arrests Suspect Over Death of Parent

Kwara State Police Command has arrested a suspect identified as Ibrahim Hassan for the alleged murder of his father. The Command’s Spokesperson, Okasanmi Ajayi, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect allegedly administered paracetamol injection mixed with other substances to his father and strangulated him to death. Ajayi noted that during investigation, the suspect confessed to the crime and would soon be charged to court.
