The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has blamed the Federal government for the indefinite extension of strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

Speaking with Boss Radio News, the Deputy Coordinator, NANs South East chapter, PraiseGod Ezeike, says the extension is as a result of federal government’s highhandedness.

Ezeike harps on the need for the government to sign an effective agreement with ASUU.

The Coordinator maintains that the demand of the union can be met if education is prioritized.
